What We Believe

What We Believe About

The Bible

We believe the Bible to be the inerrant Word of God and that its authority is absolute.

The Trinity

We believe in one Triune God, existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each is eternal in being, identical in essence, equal in power and glory, and has the same attributes and perfections.

Salvation

We believe that people were created in the image of God. However, as a result of Adam’s sin, the human race fell into sin, became alienated from God, and is totally unable to regain its former position. Yet God offers the gift of salvation to those willing to receive it through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ whose blood was shed for the forgiveness of sins.

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man, without ever ceasing to be God. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He was sent to reveal God and redeem sinful man. His death on the cross paid the penalty for our sin, gives us victory over sin, and ensures eternal life for those who trust in Him for salvation.

Christ’s Return

We believe in the personal, imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ prior to the final establishment of His kingdom on the earth. Those who are believers shall be forever in the presence of God, and those who have rejected Christ will be separated from God forever.

The Church

We believe that the Church is composed of all believers that universally make up the Body of Christ. The local church is a group of like-minded believers voluntarily joined together to glorify God and His Son, Jesus Christ.
