Or when was the last time your words spoke grace, love, and truth to someone who needed to know how much God loves them? Words of Wisdom | His Word, My Story 2021

Beginning to follow Jesus. Working your first job. Graduating high school. Getting married. Buying your first house. Having your first child. Your youngest child graduating college. Retiring from your career job.

These are all examples of important, life-changing moments in our lives. Before these important moments, a leader, a loved one, or a friend may speak words of wisdom into your life that will shape who you are as a person and how you will live in that next season. As we begin this new series called “His Word, My Story,” we are going to take a look at Deuteronomy 6, where Moses gives important wisdom to the Israelites regarding how they should live as they prepare to enter the Promised Land. Jesus cites this passage when He shares the greatest commandment in Mark 12 – so I think you’ll find this is an important passage for us!
