When I was traveling in Morocco last year, I encountered a tourist stand where they were selling their wares. This is what the sign said: “Genuine Fake Watches”. Yep. No kidding. I thought, “Well, at least they’re being honest about their forgeries!” In worship, as in life, there’s just a difference between what is real and what is fake. Taking the Hills – Engaging Outreach

A very thoughtful person blessed our staff with a huge box of chocolates over the holiday season. You know, a great life lesson can be learned from eating a box of chocolates: get to the box first so you can pick out your favorites! 🙂 Actually, I was reminded that, like eating the chocolates, it’s not what’s on the outside that counts, but what’s on the inside. In battle, those who fight from the higher ground almost always have the advantage. So, in thinking about how we can advance God’s kingdom in Parker County and beyond, the leadership of TBC has identified three “hills” we hope to take over the next few years.
