When I was traveling in Morocco last year, I encountered a tourist stand where they were selling their wares. This is what the sign said: “Genuine Fake Watches”. Yep. No kidding. I thought, “Well, at least they’re being honest about their forgeries!” In worship, as in life, there’s just a difference between what is real and what is fake. And that will be the heart of our discussion in Isaiah 29 today as we take “Hill #3: Genuine Worship". -Jon Sherman, Senior Pastor

A very thoughtful person blessed our staff with a huge box of chocolates over the holiday season. You know, a great life lesson can be learned from eating a box of chocolates: get to the box first so you can pick out your favorites! 🙂 Actually, I was reminded that, like eating the chocolates, it’s not what’s on the outside that counts, but what’s on the inside.
