In a six-day span the world witnessed the burning of the majestic Notre Dame Cathedral and the Sri Lanka Easter bombings that targeted three churches and killed hundreds, including forty-five children. In times like these waves of discouragement and fear can come over us as a people who put their faith in Jesus. But friends, there is hope! Amidst the trouble around us, like the Easter bombings, and the trouble within us, we have a promise to stand on.
