It seems as if every decade has a hit song in it about friendship (“You’ve Got a Friend”, “That’s What Friends Are For”, “You’ve Got a Friend in Me”, etc.). I think most people understand the significance and special nature of true friendship. So does the Bible. Today I get the privilege of showing you my favorite story on friendship in the entire New Testament (well, after Jesus that is). It’s a great story of faith, determination and love. I hope you’ll be inspired by it as I’ve been.
