I don’t know about you, but when it’s cold outside, I love having a fire in the fireplace. There’s just something about it – the warmth, the crackles, the dancing lights… it’s good medicine. But fires outside of a fireplace are potentially dangerous and pernicious. We’ll take some lessons from the Apostle Peter on how to overcome the “fiery ordeals” we face as followers of Jesus.
