About Future Hope Haiti

Kevin and Tracy Bolin moved to a small village just outside Mirebalais, Haiti, in September 2011 to start a Christian radio station and a library at a local mission. By 2012 the radio station was up and running, and the library was finished in 2013. In 2014, they started Future Hope, Inc, also known as Future Hope Haiti, with Katie and Jeremy Salsbury from Wichita, Kansas.

Future Hope Haiti began as a cottage craft industry to provide a small income to its members, but soon grew much larger than that. In 2020 Elva, a Haitian national, became the manager over Future Hope Haiti, with Tracy’s leadership. She did an amazing job, and later that year the Bolins were able to move back to Weatherford and lead Elva from here.

Today, Future Hope Haiti is a community center that provides many programs to the community at large, including Bible and Breakfast, Awana Bible memory club, after-school tutoring, library book club, music class, and a 10-week Parents Make the Difference program for parents of children aged 0-5. More than 250 students attend these programs. The Christian radio station continues to encourage more than 150,000 people in the community, and in 2023, school scholarships provided for 52 students to attend school.
