Lance and Ally Lang, founders of Hope is Alive Ministries, have an incredible story of love, restoration, and radical recovery. They met in 2009 and quickly got engaged, but their engagement ended abruptly when Lance’s addiction came to light. As Lance began recovering from drug addiction and alcoholism, Ally realized she needed recovery from the relationship trauma of loving an addict. 

In 2013, after their personal journeys through addiction recovery, they started Hope is Alive Ministries. Today, the ministry offers a range of resources, including treatment facilities, mentoring sober houses, an addiction helpline, and support groups for families impacted by addiction and for those grieving the loss of a loved one to addiction.
