We are consumed by other people, Social media, news, celebrity gossip… these all make the news. Think about the number of reality TV shows that are on — If we are not careful, we can get caught up in this celebrity gossip and rumors. We can drift away from what we should be focusing on. Today, we will look together at Paul’s encouragement to Timothy to set an example. Timothy is a young kid and is about to go into a city that values the worldly fables and Paul reminds him what has eternal value.
