Toxic Masculinity | Hot Summer Topics

Toxic Masculinity | Hot Summer Topics

In today’s culture, the phrase “toxic masculinity” is often used to attack men and masculinity itself. But what if the Bible paints a very different picture?

In this final message from our Hot Topics series, Pastor Eric Kuykendall takes us to 1 Corinthians 16:13–14 where the Apostle Paul lays out a clear vision of healthy masculinity:

Stay alert
Stand firm in the faith
Live courageously
Be made strong
Do everything in love

Along the way, we’ll see why masculinity itself isn’t the problem, how men (and women) are called to live courageously, and how God’s strength enables us to stand firm in love.
