About Cristian & Anne Barbosu

Cristian and Anne, graduates of Moody Bible Institute, have been serving in Arad, Romania for 20 years. Cristian pastors Biserica Harvest, a rapidly growing church in Europe, and leads Vertical Church Europe, a training platform for church planters. Anne heads the Biblical Counseling department at Harvest Church and teaches counselors from various churches. They have three daughters, including Fiona, who serves as the worship leader.

Romania, located in Eastern Europe, is a country still healing from a harsh Communist regime that lasted for almost 50 years. The Romanian language is Latin-based, and its people are known for their warm hospitality. The country’s natural beauty is unique, and its ethnographical traditions are among the best preserved in Europe. While Orthodoxy remains the main religion, many young individuals in Romania are actively searching for meaning and spirituality beyond the established faith.
