About Ray & Ruth Gorrell
Ray and Ruth Gorrell collaborate with Crossworld Ministries. Together, they contribute their efforts towards assisting international students at UTA. Their dedicated work focuses on providing support and ministry to approximately 4,000 foreign students from Persia, India, Pakistan, and China. Through their partnership with Crossworld Ministries, Ray and Ruth Gorrell employ various strategies to fulfill their mission. They actively engage in tasks such as facilitating airport pickups for the students, ensuring a smooth transition upon their arrival.
Additionally, they assist in locating and transporting used furniture to furnish the students’ unfurnished apartments. Recognizing the unique needs of these students, particularly their lack of access to a campus meal plan, the Gorrells offer valuable guidance. They provide recommendations for affordable local grocery stores, as well as information about banks and healthcare providers in the area, ensuring that the students feel supported and connected within their new environment.
