Adult Classes

At Trinity Bible Church, we provide intentional opportunities for adults to grow in faith, build strong relationships, and step into God’s purpose. Through Bible studies, connection groups, and focused ministries for every season of life, adults are strengthened by God’s Word and encouraged to follow Jesus in everyday life.
Adult Ministries

Starting Point

Starting Point is the fastest way to get connected. Over three weeks, you will learn who we are, what we believe, and how you can step into God’s purpose here. It is a clear path toward belonging, growth, and church membership.
Adult Ministries

Men's Ministry

Men’s Ministry provides space for men to grow in faith and lead with integrity at home, at work, and in the church. Through Bible studies, gatherings, and serving opportunities, men are strengthened in God’s Word and encouraged to follow Christ faithfully in everyday life.
Adult Ministries

Women's Ministry

Women’s Ministry brings women together across generations to study Scripture, encourage one another, and grow in faith. Through Bible studies, gatherings, and special events, women are equipped to love God, love their neighbor, and walk faithfully with Jesus.

Prime Timers

Prime Timers is a ministry for adults ages 55 and older. We gather each month for lunch, encouragement, and opportunities to serve. This season of life is a time to continue growing in Christ and investing in others.

Connection Groups

Life in Christ is meant to be lived together. Connection Groups meet in homes throughout the week for Bible study, prayer, and shared life. These groups create space for meaningful relationships and steady spiritual growth.
Adult Ministries

Sunday Morning Bible Studies

Sunday Morning Bible Studies offer in-depth teaching and discussion rooted in God’s Word. Similar to what many churches call Sunday School, these classes provide space to learn, ask questions, and grow together.

Serve

Growth in Christ leads to action. Adults serve across our church family and in our community—using their gifts to strengthen the body and care for others. Whether inside or outside the church walls, there is a place for you to serve.

Harold Wells

I was born during World War II—it had already started; don’t blame me for it—and was raised in a small town in Kansas in a Christian family. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior when I was 11 years old.

The Holy Spirit has used pastors and brothers and sisters in Christ in the states of Kansas, Washington, Colorado and Texas to lead me closer to Jesus. In addition, the Lord blessed me with a Christian family and a couple of retired farmers who taught me a lot about loving and serving my wife.

I was employed as an analytical chemist, lab manager, and quality engineering manager, and after over 40 years working, am now retired.

Kathleen and I have been blessed with a long and joyful marriage. We have two adult daughters, two wonderful sons-in-law, and eight grandchildren.

We first attended TBC when we visited our older daughter and her family in Willow Park. We immediately knew God was calling us to TBC and moved here from Colorado in 2012.

Through the years, I have served in several churches and in various ministries. (I have been in ministries varying from preaching sermons to cleaning toilets. I’m better at cleaning toilets.) At TBC, I lead the Prime Timers, teach a Sunday Bible class, lead a small community group, and am active in mentoring, and in Men’s Ministry. Kathy serves alongside me and leads the Ruth-Naomi Ministry.

One of my several favorite Scriptures is Ephesians 2:8-10: We are saved by God’s free gift (grace) through faith. God created us in Christ Jesus to do the work He has planned for us to do. These few verses cover Christian living from start to finish.

I serve Jesus because He saved me and I have the privilege of hanging out with Him and doing what He calls me to do. Where God guides, He provides. If you see me do anything good, thank God. It’s not by my will or strength.

Hobbies include: Bible study (this is not really a hobby; it’s a major part of my life), spending time with Kathy, yard work, and walks.

(I still am not sure what I want to be when I grow up.)

I grew up in Waco in a family of believers and spent many hours at our church all through my childhood, teenage and college years. (I’m a Baylor Bear) I trusted Jesus as my Savior when I was 9 years old and remember it being such an exciting time in my life. The verse God gave me early in life was Proverbs 3:5-6 – “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.” I believed that truth and it rooted deeply in my soul.

I married my college sweetheart and had my life all planned out.  I really had to stand on my faith when 10 yrs into our marriage I lost my husband. My 5 yr old son lost his father. But God… His grace, mercy, love and faithfulness carried me and He blessed me with a wonderful man who has changed my life. When I couldn’t see the future God reassured me with Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know that plans I have for you, plans to prosper you, not to harm you; to give you hope and a future.”

Joe and I have been blessed with a beautiful marriage. One of God’s amazing blessings is that Joe and my late husband were friends. Together, we have 3 boys (his and hers) — all grown and married, giving us 3 wonderful daughters and 4 grandchildren. Life has taught me what a faithful God we serve. Life has taught me what a faithful God we serve.

What brought me to where I am today with Jesus is my desire to be obedient, to know Him and serve Him. He has given me so much and I want to share that with others. Joe and I have asked God to use our marriage because He has written such a beautiful story in our lives. I love serving women – that is where my heart is.  I love that Jesus loves us where we are, but He doesn’t leave us there. He wants us to be more like Him. He wants us to love others well and find Joy in the journey until He calls us home. My prayer is that I live a life of gratitude.

When not serving at Trinity, I love to spend time with Joe – we are semi-retired! We live on a small ranch with horses and a donkey. We volunteer with Project Sanctuary – a non-profit that holds retreats for military families. Next year we will be leading a marriage/relationship class at some of the retreats.  I love to read, garden, paint, travel to Colorado, play with our golden retriever puppy, study the Bible and I LOVE being “Gran”!
