How to Study the Bible (Mike Barton & Carrie Cooper)
God reveals Himself to us in the Bible. In it we learn more about God, what He has done for us through Christ, and how we are to live. By studying the Bible we have the opportunity to interact with a living God who desires a personal relationship with us.
There are a number of ways to study the Bible, but one of the most effective approaches involves three simple steps:
Step 1: OBSERVE - What does the passage say?
Step 2: INTERPRET - What does the passage mean?
Step 3: APPLY – How will you respond?
This 10-week study offers a simple, proven Bible study process and provides you the tools necessary to grow in faith, knowledge, and maturity. Join us while we learn step-by-step how to explore and understand the Bible. Whether you are a beginner or seasoned Bible student, this class could be the start of one of the greatest adventures of your life.
